Springtime in Springfield

Beckett is getting So big....seems like everyday he learns something new. He crawls all over the place, pulls up on anything and everything, and has no fear in letting go of whatever he is holding onto. I even caught him standing with one hand this week. Stinker!

Not a big "outdoors" fan...like Mom! Doesn't like sitting in the grass at all.

early 2012

The year started off with a continuation of Beckett being sick with croup, sinus infection, teething, ear infection, etc. Not a fun time to be a Spalding :) But he was feeling much, much better by mid-January. Here are some favorites from January, February and early March. Hard to believe our guy turned 8 months old already! He is getting quite mobile, so that keeps us busy chasing him all over!

 Gma came to stay for the weekend. Gave Mommy some time to clean, organize and even nap for an hour or two!! Beckett loves reading to Gma!

 Seven months old, and smiling ALL of the time (unless a tooth is coming in!)!

 Started using the high chair this month. He isn't so sure at first...

 But he does like showing off his smile to Dad while practicing his sip cup skills!

 Napping is quite uncommon, so I had to document it!

 Not too many things can take Beckett's attenion away from 'Wheel of Fortune"
except for his best bud, Daddy!

 Crawling has begun. Mom came out of laundry room to find Beckett trying to look for me. How could this smile not brighten your day?!

Our Little Lovey!

Cabin Fever (literally!)

The end of December and beginning of January was pretty rough on Beckett (and MOm and Dad!!)! He started out with a cough the week of Christmas, which went into the Croup, which hung out for weeks. the doctor said it turned into a sinus infection, so more meds. Then he had an ear infection from all of the drainage, which made the poor guy cry for 10 hours...we finally cracked and decided to take him to a prority care center (since this was on a Saturday, of course!) When we arrived his ear drum had ruptured. He felt much better with teh pressure being released. The next morning we woke up to see his first tooth had popped through, too! I can't imagine the pain he went throough. Poor B!

 This was the day his tooth popped through. Much happier, but still wanting to be held all day by Mommy!
